News from 'The Vic'
New Summer Menu!
Have a look at our menu page for our summer menu. We have a few new items and everything has been updated.
The Vic is now on Facebook!
Well, it was bound to happen. The Victoria now has its own Facebook page, and we will be updating it with all the latest information. Be sure to look us up and add us as a friend.
Thursday Night Block Party
The Vic will endeavor to be open on Thursday nights from 6 - 9pm for the Anderson Downtown Block Party. We aren't available all Thursday, but will do our best. We are serving our full menu, so be sure and stop by to enjoy the music and a meal!
Brits and Grits Now Available on Amazon.com!
To date, we've sold almost 100 copies of Brits and Grits: The Victoria Tea Room Cookbook and Almanac. It is available in the shop for the very affordable price of $12.99. Now, the book is officially listed on Amazon.com, but for a slightly higher price (dictated by Amazon, not us!!). It's just nice to know our publisher thought it was worth putting on Amazon, though.
If you would like to purchase it directly from LuLu publishing, simply click on the following button:
This will link you directly to the publishing company, but you will have to pay a little extra to buy
directly.
Tracy is hard at work on her new cookbook, called Confessions of a Southern Cook, and she is hopeful to finish it this summer, so be on the lookout. It will feature some of the Vic's most prized recipes, including our delectible Chicken Salad and our Chocolate Balsamic Dressing Recipes.
Tooting Our Horn...
Fox Carolina recently highlighted Anderson on one of its Town Takeover segments, and being the opportunistic folks we are we couldn't pass up the chance to be on telly! Here is Trev schmoozing Alexandra Wilson from Fox Carolina:
One of our lovely customers, Lauren Hardy, is a student at North Greenville College and asked us to star in one of her media projects - well, of course we were more than happy to oblige, and we think she and her crew did a beautiful job - Click on the following link to see her lovely documentary about the Vic:
We LOVE being featured on Anderson's Online Magazine, The Current Buzz, and this is the latest edition, all about the International businesses in Anderson. Click HERE for a really entertaining issue of the 'Buzz'.
Now we always say that our customers are the best, and we really mean it. Jake Grove, our Ace Reporter from the Anderson Independent, has written a wonderful 'Let's Do Lunch' article on the Vic in the BE Magazine. We really appreciate his kind words and can't thank you enough, Jake. To see the electric copy, click HERE.
New customers Ann and Bill told us that we'd been featured in the Atlanta Journal and Consitution, so we had to see for ourselves. We are proud to be part of a terrific article about some of the great things to do in Anderson - for a look at the electronic version, click HERE.
Finally, a couple of weeks after the Vic first opened, we did a spot on WSPA's Your Carolina. Our dear customer and good friend Brian Hamilton put it on YouTube, and being the show-offs we are, we have included a link here so you can see us. Simply click on the link below to view our 15 minutes (actually about 6) minutes of fame.
Also, Tea and Roses Quarterly Magazine featured the Vic in a great review. CLICK HERE to read.

Please Note:
Because you have been, and continue to be, so supportive, we are finding that reservations are becoming more and more necessary. If you have a party of six or more, please call in advance for reservations - otherwise we can't always guarantee a table! With parties of six or fewer, reservations are not required, but greatly appreciated and helpful.
