The Latest News from 'The Vic'
'The Carolina Girl' Has A Forever Home !!!
As many of you know, we asked out customers to help us purchase the beautiful portrait 'Carolina Girl' by local artist Don Wagy (see here above). Well, we are thrilled to report that, not only did you give us enough money to purchase Carolina Girl, but half the money we needed was given to us by a single anonymous benefactor! It just goes to prove what we say over and over again: The Victoria has the best customers in the world. Thank you so much - it means more to us than we could ever say.

Customer Appreciation Day - Tuesday, February 16
If you recall, last year on Mardi Gras, we celebrated with a Customer Appreciation Day that went down in the history books - and we're chomping at the bit to do another one this year! We have a wonderful menu lined up for our dear customers that day - Chicken Gumbo, Dirty Rice Quiche, Shrimp Courtbuillion Pasties, Tri-colour Scones and Genuine Homemade King Cake - complete with a Baby in the middle.
The lucky customer who finds the baby will receive a free $10 Gift Card - just a little way of saying a BIG thank you to our loyal and generous customers.
As with all our special menu days, this one is sure to sell out, so call for reservations early. Ring Tracy on 864-222-8832 for your reservation today!
The Vic is now on Facebook!

A Great Article On Green Tea
Brits and Grits Now Available on Amazon.com!
To date, we've sold almost 100 copies of Brits and Grits: The Victoria Tea Room Cookbook and Almanac. It is available in the shop for the very affordable price of $12.99. Now, the book is officially listed on Amazon.com, but for a slightly higher price (dictated by Amazon, not us!!). It's just nice to know our publisher thought it was worth putting on Amazon, though.
If you would like to purchase it directly from LuLu publishing, simply click on the following button:
This will link you directly to the publishing company, but you will have to pay a little extra to buy
directly.
Tooting Our Horn...
We LOVE being featured on Anderson's Online Magazine, The Current Buzz, and this is the latest edition, all about the International businesses in Anderson. Click HERE for a really entertaining issue of the 'Buzz'.
Now we always say that our customers are the best, and we really mean it. Jake Grove, our Ace Reporter from the Anderson Independent, has written a wonderful 'Let's Do Lunch' article on the Vic in the BE Magazine. We really appreciate his kind words and can't thank you enough, Jake. To see the electric copy, click HERE.
New customers Ann and Bill told us that we'd been featured in the Atlanta Journal and Consitution, so we had to see for ourselves. We are proud to be part of a terrific article about some of the great things to do in Anderson - for a look at the electronic version, click HERE.
Finally, a couple of weeks after the Vic first opened, we did a spot on WSPA's Your Carolina. Our dear customer and good friend Brian Hamilton put it on YouTube, and being the show-offs we are, we have included a link here so you can see us. Simply click on the link below to view our 15 minutes (actually about 6) minutes of fame.
Also, Tea and Roses Quarterly Magazine featured the Vic in a great review. CLICK HERE to read.
